This week has been a busy one, with a lot dropping for us listeners to check out. So let's take a look at it all in this week's instalment of #TheGrimeyCatchUp!

Devlin is back with some new music and he has come back with a monumental bang. Don't Try It is a hard-hitting banger with the one and only Chip, as both MCs drop huge verses over an instrumental produced by Lewi White and Jimmy Sharp. This one should be going off at Devlin's Black Card Session at Boxpark Croydon on Tuesday 18th!

D Power has dropped the first single from his upcoming project, Graphene Vol. 3, teaming up with K Dot for Sour. Both MCs go insane on their verses, dropping punchy bars with slick flows over an insane production from Olja Beats, with a knockout bassline and a melody that makes you instantly screwface when you hear it!

Crowbeats has been dropping a string of instrumentals lately, even teaming up with Niftz for his Sound EP, which we will see featured later on. This 10 track tape he has put together - The Grime Reciept - shows off his insane production talents, with 10 diverse sounding grime beats, with a whole bundle of creativity shown off in them. Personal standouts include the Street Fighter Riddim and Advart Riddim!

Niftz has dropped a brand new music video for the title track from his EP with Crowbeats - Sound. With grimey synths and a punchy flow from Niftz, this one is definitely a true showcase of Niftz's sound as an artist. Make sure to run this up on the Treehouse MCR YouTube channel!

Duppy dropped his EP last week, with 8 of the best grime tracks out right now making Delusions of Grandeur one of the best grime projects out this year. The first video to drop since its release is the Combo music video, where Duppy spits his bars outside Morley's and KFC, staying true to the lyrics of the song. You can also catch an awkward, doesn't know how to act in front of a camera Jack Squared lurking in the background.

As the title says, this one is a mad linkup, with Komposa, MĀDŁY, Axel Holy, Griz-O, Slowie & Rider Shafique all teaming up to deliver big verses in front of a Filthy Gears production for their latest track - Mad. Make sure to check this one out above!

Griz-O is back dropping another video from his great album Southwest Sicko, released earlier this year (check the write up here). This latest video is for his track Think, where Griz-O opens up about his hopes and wishes for his life moving forward and makes himself and the listener think about all of these parts and things mashed together that we call our lives.

Travs Presents put on an absolutely insane set recently, which you need to check out on their YouTube. Their next show is on the 28th of April, which, if you haven't been already, you need to get down to. These are the essence of what grime is but with a 2023 spin that keeps grime fresh and alive. If you're an artist who wants to get involved, use the email in the post above and for fans, sign up at travspresents.tv for alerts!

SDLR dropped a filthy instrumental over on his Bandcamp and Soundcloud (linked above) as he showed the levels on this drop, titled Rottah. Make sure to check this out, released via Reloaded Sounds, and keep it locked for more coming via both SDLR and Reloaded Sounds!

Manga Saint Hilare took to Adidas's flagship store in Central London and shut it down to celebrate the release of his collaborative tee with the clothing giant (they were an instantaneous sell out). With the one and only Hugo Chegwin, Wingy Wingson and Kirby T all stepping behind the decks, Manga performed some of his best songs and even got some artists going in an 8-bar relay, as well as Blay Vision performing his Cammy Riddim!

Tommy B is shutting down his headline show on the 15th of April (this Saturday)! With a standout album already under his belt this year, you can expect a real show from this one!

Make sure to check out the playlists below and keep a look out for an exclusive interview with LRD, the creator of the Fatality Riddim, dropping next Wednesday!
