Mace The Great has dropped an absolutely incredible album in Splott World, where he shows us his true self over a collection of twelve tracks, all with varying styles and sounds.

The album kicks off with On, featuring Nathside, with Mace The Great setting the tone for this album, reminding us of the skilful MC that he is with bars telling us that he ain't "shocked by the truth, cos I'm true to myself, that's facts". Two bangers follow, with Wicked & Bad and No Reason showing off Mace The Great's insane delivery and ridiculous flow switches, which stand up when he goes back to back with Manga Saint Hilare on the latter track.

The second half of the project sees Mace get introspective in his records, with tracks like Tourist and Thuggish Ruggish being led by beautiful piano melodies. The latter track kicks off with a moment of realisation, as Mace admits that he "could have been a victim if never had big plans" and once he saw Wiley and Dizzee Rascal go onto achieve everything that they have, he says that he "couldn't say that the fire weren't in me".

The album closes with From Me To You, where Mace reflects on his life so far, his experiences in fatherhood and how he's handled his life so far. This track is an amazing one to close such a brilliantly crafted album from one of Wales's finest!
