Kruz Leone - O.T Trips (Remixes)

Kruz Leone has dropped the remixes for O.T Trips, one of the stand out singles from his 2022 project: Big Slide Tackle.

The first remix, The Re-Whip, sees a star-studded line up of grime's finest who Kruz Leone all enlisted for the track as he believed they all are "the most authentic to the re-whip concept". The track sees FR4NKIE, Milli Major, So Large, Rawza, Duppy and Kozzie all trade heavy bars and flows, filled with memorable wordplay which gets the listener gassed and matching the energy of the track itself. Produced by Adam R and Efflex, this remix gives the track a new feel and definitely matches the expectation that the line up gives it.

The second remix is an instrumental remix, produced by NEONE the Wonderer. With the original vocals, NEONE gives the track a more moody, mellow feeling, with the keys and strings immediately setting you back as you listen. The grime groove and skip are still core to the instrumental, whilst having jazz and hip-hop sounds fused amongst it. This blend makes for an insane remix, which took me personally by surprise when I heard it, and allows for Kruz Leone's flows to glide across the track that much more.
